The theme for this competition was to Photoshop a pig in anyway you liked. My title for this entry was
'Smokey Bacon', which came 2nd out of 46 other entries and was awarded the silver medal.
The theme for this competition was called 'Jive Critters' and the challenge was to take any animal and make them dance!
I made this cat and called it 'Can a cat can-can?' it placed 3rd and received the bronze medal.
Competition rules: 'Silhouettes are an important art form, and are pervasive in popular culture. From iPod commercials to movie-opening James Bond ladies, silhouettes give an ordinary picture a dramatic perspective. Your assignment today is to show us a silhouette. It should be very realistic, but it should create a fantastic, impossible or amazing picture. Don't think that silhouettes are "easy to do" because they're mostly featureless. We're looking for top-quality, awe-inspiring images!'

My entry here placed 2nd out of 50 other entries, and received the silver medal.
Contest Rules:   Classical art. Modern graffiti. Too many people think they're worlds apart. To us they're just crying out to be brought together! In this contest we want you to add modern-style graffiti to classical artworks. Don't put the graffiti over the actual painting, incorporate it into the scene.

I came 2nd, silver medal, out of 74 other entries.
Contest rules:  Famous faces forming in unexpected places.
We've all heard the story of the grilled cheese sandwich that had an image of Mary, Mother of Christ appear on it, and other foodstuffs that had religious images appear on them. The aim of this contest was to show a famous face formed in a mysterious manner in an unexpected place.

My entry here, inspired by 'Chocolat' with Johnny Depp titled 'Hot Depp Chocolate' came 3rd out 32 other entries and took the bronze medal.
This was not entered for a contest. Some of us members from Worth 1000 decided to make our own competition called 'Reality Alice In Wonderland' just for fun!
Contest rules: One letter off. For this Photoshop competition you are to come up with an exisiting film, change one letter in the title and and recreate the advertising poster to reflect the new name, whilst keeping it recognizable.
I chose the Luc Besson film LEON.
Contest rules:   'You rarely see toddlers going to art museums these days. And why should they? What little kid wants to spend time staring at a farmer and his wife when they could be home watching Nickelodeon or Disney? If only the Old Masters had been smart enough to put licensed characters into their artwork, they'd have managed to snag the next generation of artgoers while they were still young. In this contest, we're asking you to fix their oversight. Update any artwork (painting, sculpture, etc.) with a character from the world of children's entertainment.'

I chose The Incredibles comic film and Botticelli's 'Birth of Venus'. It was one of my first entries and placed 6th out of 77 entries.
