The dance of death at Basel: Death & the King
The dance of death at Basel is a series of scratchboard etchings based on lithographs made in the 19th century by Hieronymus Hess sourced from the Wellcome Collection

Each piece is originally sketched out on scratchboard paper (8.5x11 in) with line detail carefully scratched out using a knife - a process that takes 18 - 20 hours depending on the level of detail and size - with the final product scanned and set up for print.
