Praise of Shabby Room
Mountains are not high, but fairies are named. Water is not deep, but dragons are spiritual. Confucius once said: "How could we call a room shabby as long as there is a virtuous man in it?” Through the simplicity of works, it reflects the environment and state of artistic creation. Three bonsai scenes present the characteristics of three kinds of artistic creation, pure, dull and odd. Designers are trying to integrate the current and traditional Oriental creative state in the shape, color and white space. At the same time, this concept is also conveyed through local handmade paper and screen printing techniques.
