FUTURES
NO CHANGE IN THE WEATHER
The people who came in today were a couple cast members(Kelly-Ann Evans, Mark Whelan, Paul Rowe, and Brooke C. Adams) and two musicians, (Kelly and Tamsyn Russell) who are mostly from Newfoundland. They worked on and played in a musical called "No Change in the Weather."

Getting into the film industry is hard work. You have to practice a lot to get good. As one of the cast member said, "if you do 10,000 hours of work (in anything), you will succeed in that field." I've learned a lot from them in such a short time and they're inspiring. They taught me that it's good to have people who support you and to practice. They also gave out very useful tips for acting, which can also apply to simply speaking in front of others for those who are nervous or even afraid.
There were questions I wanted to ask, but did not get a chance to. They were "do you have someone who inspired you to do what you do now?", "what is it like to be an actor", and "how do you get over stage fright?"
THE WEAKERTHANS - STEPHEN CARROLL
Stephen Carroll is a former Canadian rock guitarist from The Weakerthans and they originate from Winnipeg.
Some questions I want to ask are, "how did you know you wanted to pursue in music?" , "what is it like being in a band?" and "how did you become the president?"

Stephen Carroll is a former lead guitarist from the Weakerthans who has been through a couple gigs from places like hotels before joining The Weakerthans. After he left the Weakerthans, he manages small artists and also became the president of Manitoba Music.
Stephen Carroll also gave out advice to us saying to contact small or even big musicians and to don't turn down an offer.

TRENT CORREY
Trent Correy is an animator who was born in Ottowa and he works in Walt Disney Animation Studios. Some questions I wished to ask was: "Did you imagine yourself working for Disney?", "What was your favourite film to work on?", and "What's it like working for Disney?"
Trent Correy is a former student of Mr. Jamie Leduc and he is now an animator and an animation director who works for Disney. Trent is currently the animation director for Olaf in Frozen 2 and has worked on famous films such as Frozen, Zootopia, Moana, and mann more. He and his colleagues were recognized at the Golden Globe Awards for their work on Zootopia when it won the award for Best Animated Film
ANIMATION SUMMATIVE
REFLECTION

This project was stressful and exhausting from start and especially when we were nearing the deadline, but I've learned a lot and it was fun. There were a lot of disagreements at first because this class was taken lightly and there were times that I wanted to give up and even thought about merging into one big animation group, but I pushed through and made it to the end and created something that I'm proud for. We were the group who were ambitious and made an animation that lasted around 7-8 minutes.
Joining this class also helped me in a lot of ways. At first, I was quiet and hated speaking up and presenting by myself, but I learned and got better at it. I also made new friends and got a lot more outgoing and comfortable around people.

THINGS THAT COULD BE IMPROVED

I think if we had more time, we'd have the whole animation finished. I also think that some scenes in the beginning are missing and need a little more context, so the audience knows whats happening. I also think that we could have been a little more organized with things and posted more on our socials.

THINGS THAT WORKED OUT

In our animation, we wanted to have lots of dialogue to keep the story going, but for that to happen, we needed voice actors. Luckily enough we had the people we wanted in school. We thought that Mr. Thwaites and as well as Mr. Shedden would fit two important characters in the story. Blackbeard, the antagonist and Eden Sharpe, a second father figure to Rob Maynard and as well as the captain of the navy ship.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Our social medias were a little tough to handle, but I think overall we did okay. We may have not posted frequently, but I'm happy with what we have and tried our hardest.
