Celebrating Women and Science (along with other worthy subjects, like Ruth Bader Ginsburg!), Dissentpins.com creates pretty wonderful jewelry, and 50% of  profits go to terrific organizations such as Black Girls Code, DIY Girls, and ChickTech. So when Art Director Nick Jehlen asked me if I'd like to create portraits to sit on the cards behind the jewelry it was a no brainer, this was a dream date!

I was able to scare up a number of photos of Ms. Hopper, and this was my favorite so I worked from it primarily. I love celebrating this powerful badass!
