PAYTM T20 Trophy - Brand Identity

Identity design for PAYTM T20 Trophy that will be representing BCCI International and Domestic seasons 2019-23. Since, PAYTM got awarded title sponsorship rights second time in a row, the rebrand was intended to have a fresh look for the coming 5 years.
This identity will be broadcasted in all the major Television channels and will reach millions of people who enjoy cricket.
The brand mark is designed to represent T20’s short format that makes the game more enjoyable for a much larger audience. It’s agile and exciting characteristics are translated using graphic techniques and draws emphasis to the identity with the help of gestalt’s law of figure ground, a play on positive and negative space to have instant recall value.
The rebrand comprised of the T20 identity mark, extended identity lockups with the title sponsor and the team logos. The project included an identity style guide that details out the further specifics like typography, colours, spacing, and the do’s & dont’s.
