CPA Recipe Book.
ISTD brief - 21st Century Reading.

‘How do we read in the 21st century?' I chose to look at Continuous Partial Attention (CPA), which is a process of skimming information without fully reading it.
The publication is a fictitious interpretation of the 'what if?' Imagine 'CPA' is a condition and you, the author, just wrote a recipe book after misreading information. You would probably end up with something completely crazy, right? That’s what the author (me) of this publication did. This is a recipe book packed with some weird and wonderful creations and other tasty treat-sized delights.
Recipes include - Paradoxical Pretzel, Ban'offel' Pie & Simple Stu.

Enjoy.
I experimented with falling typography, which plays with the idea of how information could be lost. Another element I added was greaseproof paper pages, which I screen-printed on to.

One of the best things about this app is when you select a recipe using the navigation buttons. A section from
the recipe then falls from an illustration to form a paragraph underneath. You then have the choice to view the
full recipe.
