I've always enjoyed and admired team sports logos, in particular the logos of the National Hockey League. Due to this life-long affection, I felt compelled to create something that exhibited and celebrated them in very visual way. It took me 3 months from start to finish and required a lot of attention to detail with a paintbrush, but the results I feel made it totally worthwhile.
The painted logos are done on wooden blocks and then attatched onto a MDF board with magnets to hold them in place. This allows them to be interchangeable by simply pulling one off and replacing it with another.
