MythoGraphy
Myths and legends were always loved by artists. In their own works, many musicians and painters reinterpreted the characters from myths in their own unique ways, including fairies, heroes and half-man. Through nine graphic works, the intangible theme heard in classical music is expressed as visible graphic and it is relocated to the new virtual space along with the materials from the famous old paintings. Inspired by classical music and paintings, I have expressed myths reinterpreted by graphic designers.
The module in which the assignment was given made me to choose a free topic to express in the form of an illustration during the whole semester. There was no restriction in the way of expression or theme, except for the final result has to be in printed format. I choose Indigo Printing to make good use of the contrasting colour of graphic elements with classical paintings.
