The States of Guernsey (Guernsey Government - will be know as "States") launched an ambitious programme of Public Sector Reform (PSR) to transform the way it delivers services and ensure they are effectively equipped to deliver the government's strategic policy outcomes. The States needs to reduce the cost of delivering its services to remain financially sustainable. The Future Digital Services partnership between the States and Agilisys offers an opportunity to combine the introduction of new technologies with the capability and capacity to re-design services and business processes. 

The Discovery work (T0) has assessed the digital maturity of service areas within the organisation. It found that the transactional services it provides to citizens and the internal support services for the organisation are systemically inefficient and don’t make full use of digital to improve their service quality and efficiency.
