Project developed in the Author Design course at the Lisbon Jewellery Center.
Design and production of a piece inspired by the proposed theme, Collecting.
With this piece I want to materialize what is immaterial, our memories, experiences and dreams that over time become part of us and accumulate in our mind, as a vast and endless timeless collection. I want to explore an invisible world of what marks us throughout life, which shapes our identity and builds our individuality. For this I use as the main element sand to transmit this timelessness of memories.
Materials: Silver, Copper, Sand and acrylic
Technique: Striped metal (silver & copper) with rivets
