Vasco da Gama is a brand of canned food that has existed on the market since 1993 and boasts its values based on Portuguese traditionality, extolling the great achievements of the Portuguese people, namely the "Descobrimentos".
This range comprises three branded products (tuna, sardines and pickled squid) and is intended to commemorate its 25 years of existence.

Concept
The concept went on to maintain traditionality, adapting it to new contemporary standards. This is present in the manuality of the linoleum illustrations and in small graphic details that I tried to allude to the typical Portuguese dishes.
The pickled squid adopts the graphic language of the earthenware typical of northern Portugal. Tuna adopts the language of black clay originating from Bisalhães and, in turn, sardines show details alluding to the dishes of Viana do Castelo, known for their hand-painted blue flourishes.
