Another film by Hayao Miyazaki I really dear is Howl's Moving Castle, original story by Diana Wynne Jones. Having done Blu in Spirited Away, thought it'd be nice to spend some time in this one also. So here's an extra day in the Ghibli universe. 

p.s. I'm just way too afraid to reinterpret Howl, as he's supposed to be this perfect, handsome guy. I don't draw handsome. So instead I substituted Blu in for a bit of convenience on my part. Hope it doesn't offend anyone.

A gentle stroll above town. I could really imagine doing this as a routine. 

So this does not happen in the movie, but what if Howl meets a new demon? 

Perhaps an ice demon this time. Hard to say if he'd be a friend or a foe to Calcifer, but surely he'll make things even more lively.
