To create a thought provoking cover and interior article layout that visually tells the feature story of cigar band collecting, keeps the reader engaged, stays within predetermined styles and constraints, and ultimately adds value to the magazine itself.
 

Since cigar bands can be shown actual size, the CM reader can see the cigar band collecting world from a collectors point-of-view (literally). To emphasize this idea, handwriting, plus a reoccuring life size hand and magnifying glass are utilized and add interest to the repetitive patterns created by the band grids.
