independently managed university project
Lounge chair with reverse sled base in painted steel, designed during the course held by Prof. Marco Zito on Product Design at the IUAV university. The polyurethane shell with low backrest is suspended by two leather bands that join to the cantilever curved structure. The shell is the projectual starting point: once received it from Arper, it had to be completed maintaining the original function of the product. The whole system is removable and easily transportable. The product communication consists of two pieces: a folding poster (A2 format) and an illustrative booklet (A4 format), which both stress the importance of leather for the entire project.
In collaboration with Arper (furniture company), Sillc (fine leather manufacturers) and Mec Carr (steel painters).
togheter with Niccolò Barea, Federico Bonan and Alberto Carlo Cafaro
