PARTY ANIMALS
Party Animals is an illustrated series literally based on the pun, "Party Animal". A series in progress, party animals was a quick fun exercise that takes the pun too far.
The first drawing for the party bear came from two sources, a certain party gummy bear video, and an error in drawing an animal for a class, resulting in it looking like it was dancing.
It didn't take long for the bear to get a pair of shades and some lights around him.
Next came the Hippo. I chose animals that we often use as comparisons to peoples' behaviours. As an alliterration, the first word that came to mind was "hippie", and thus "hippie hippo". Hippos loves to sit in shallow mud (substituted here with a rum and coke pool). Along with the usual hippie accessories and attire, the hippo was the second animal in the series.
