Before my interest in videography started, I was naturally curious about photography. I enjoyed shooting photos of my friends racing at the track, our yearly camping trips, and the occasional street snowboarding session in Omaha. And while I was interning in the marketing department at Crete Carrier Corporation, the graphic designer there introduced me to Unsplash.com, a copyright free photo-sharing website. I liked the idea of sharing my photos with people that might not know me, or potentially helping out a graphic designer who needs a cool stock photo, so whenever I took a photo that I thought looked cool I would upload it to the site. I definitely uploaded my fair share of duds, but I also had a few hits that I've seen used in for ads on Instagram and on other sites like MotionArray.com.
