We live in a society where malignant aggression and inherent terror threatens the survival of humanity. The therapeutic nature of music has elevated its status to that of a universal ‘instrument’ to spread peace. Being an art form whose medium is both sound and silence, it often conveys that which cannot be spoken. In my opinion, music can be that avenue which offers a neutralist solution in today’s world. My project aims to target the four strings of violence: suicide, homicide, war and terror, and try to reach out to those trapped voices that are waiting to explode.
