Visa Coffee Table Book

During the Olympics, Visa set up a website for their staff to upload articles and images detailing their experiences during the Games. To celebrate this, I was asked to design a 100 page book which contained all the photos and articles the staff had produced.

The book was split into two parts. The first 50 pages showing images of the staff using the Augmented Reality programme Visa set up, where they pretended they were playing Olympic sports and the software then took a photo of them. The second half contained images that the staff had taken themselves.

As I received all the images in one huge bulk, I decided to sort the pictures into categories and put them in a sort of rough time-line. The images of the staff carrying the torch first, then the opening ceremony, then the sports and then finally the last few pages were of the closing ceremonies. The articles were put in depending on the day they were uploaded.
