The idea was to avoid the classic lamp switch and allow users to easily turn light on and off through micro – switch by rotating the ball for 90 degrees.
The legs are made of black matte metal practically invisible when the lamp is turned on, thus the lighted ball looks like an illuminated moon - Luna.
