This charismatic neighborhood, offers a dynamic mix of coffee shops, museums, hotels and the city's most popular restaurants. The architectural and cultural richness of the city, in general, have merited Cuenca its designation as a World Heritage City.
I have always wanted to design something for my hometown and it was very interesting to walk around Cuenca's Historical Center, pay attention to every detail and notice things that I never did before. Everything from its people to the uneven pavement, red tile roofs and its 19th-century Church makes this neighborhood so unique and I wanted to use all of these elements in the design.
