CONCEPT
The theme selected for the hair and makeup is animal print. Leopard cat is a very beautiful yet an agile and fierce animal. Keeping in mind these traits of the leopard cat this particular look has been devised. The makeup is very elaborate. Dark (leopard cat print) eye makeup has been done running from the side of the face to the neck. Long eye lashes have been used to accentuate the eyes so that they look bigger, fuller and more attractive. Black freckles have been given below the nose and lower cheek suggestive of whiskers. The lips have been painted black to bring out the wild animal like fierce character. Face countering has been done on the nose and forehead in such a way so that the whole face resembles to that of a leopard cat. The hair have been neatly centre parted and rolled up on each side forming a bund so as to give an appearance of cat ears.
This particular hair and makeup styling has been created to be used for Roberto Cavalli’s fashion show themed “Fierce beauty”. Roberto Cavalli, is a very famous Italian fashion designer from Florence. He is known for exploring nature in his designs the best. From exotic floral prints of orchids to an array of marine prints, he has used them all to right usage. He’s one designer who has used and reused animal print to such an extent that it has almost become his identity mark now. Blending up with the theme of the fashion show the makeup is bold, defining the furious wild side to one’s character. The purpose of this look is to generate a very high fashion dramatised look on the ramp during the fashion show.
