Team Qatar’s most successful athletes, including high jump World Champion Mutaz Barshim, Olympic show jumping finalist, Sheikh Ali Al Thani, Paralympic silver medallist, Abdulrahman Abdelqader, Asian shooting medallist, Khulood Al Khalaf, and Qatar’s first female to compete in two Olympics, Nada Arakji, joined Qatar’s future sporting stars in an inspirational ceremony that culminated in the unveiling of the QOC’s new logo to the world.

Following the end of the launch ceremony, the QOC hosted its annual Sports Excellence Awards, recognizing and celebrating the athletes, organizations and individuals who have plated a significant role in achieving sporting excellence for Qatar over the past year.
Above is the 3 minute backdrop animation played in the unveiling of QOC's new logo - it was also accompanied by the video screen found on the podium where the star athletes piece together the "6 values: Excellence, Performance, Challenge, Empowerment, Inspiration, and National Pride" that forms the shield.
