Drawn using black and white charcoal pencils at The Art Academy of Hunterdon County. (5.75”x7.75”) My reference photo was taken at Dorney Park of an old-fashioned car by Michele Philips featured on her VSCO https://vsco.co/michelephilipss/media/576b3a7cbacfcc402bc3574c. The technique used to create this drawing was strip drawing in which I learned at The Art Academy of Hunterdon County. The photo was printed in black and white and cut into small half-inch strips. The paper was sectioned into half-inch bars in which I laid one strip photo at a time directly next to the numbered bar. I could transfer over exact details and match to the photo more specifically. This allowed for better focus especially on the smaller details, resulting in a more finished looking drawing.
