Krka National Park

Krka National Park is one of 7 National Parks located in Croatia. It was made into a National park in 1985 to protect the area and its beauty. Krka is 109 square Kilometres in size and contains 7 main waterfalls within the national park. The river Krka itself is 45 miles in length.
Skradinski buk is the most well known of the waterfalls, it is the 7th waterfall of the park and creates a large pool at the bottom which between the months of June and September visitors are able to swim in. Due to how the waterfall falls it creates its own natural whirlpools and water current which makes it different from all of the others in the park.
You can visit the park by booking tickets in advance, this is recommended as the government is limiting the number of visitors to preserve the park to preserve the reserve. There are an abundance of different trails you an follow around the park some which take you through some beautifully peaceful ponds and hidden waterfalls.
