Profile owner Ali Jackson has been a longtime client of mine from her days as Profile Concierge Hair Services. She recently approached me looking for an update to the brand as they looked to expand their offerings and move from the traveling "concierge" to a cozy studio/"nook". Ali wanted to keep the identity of the brand she had established, but with an updated look that was a little less refined and a little warmer.
We utilized Spectral from Google Fonts - it's a workhorse serif that takes on a chunky personality in the heavier weights. We kept the other elements of the brand (namely color) pretty similar and monochrome. Ali regularly works with professional photographers and I thought it was best to allow her work to speak with a transparent brand.
