Location Chosen : Yamuna Ghat, New Delhi, India
Editorial Concept
Famous for its seagulls and the yellows and oranges of sunrise and sunset, Yamuna Ghat is more than how it is depicted. The research on it and the multiple visits and interactions with the people there made us realise the religious aspects of the place. Religion being one of the major facets, has an upper hand inspite of the excessive pollution in the region. Hence, the concept for the photoshoot.
' I emerge out of the virulent holy waters only to find myself immersed in the divine vapour feeling the presence of god amidst the dirt.The waters beneath me are a shade of grey, from all the dirt but my soul is clean and pure as my heart lies with God and I see blue in the grey waters of the Yamuna.'
