Old Western Exhibition and Saloon

For this project I set out to create an exhibition space, with collateral that would be collected by people who visited the exhibition. My exhibition titled, Descending from the American West, provides a visitor with a collection of art from the old west which also providing an immersive experience that includes getting drinks from a bar and food from a saloon style restaurant. This exhibition would be a traveling one, that stopped in small towns that are losing population, set up in an abandoned building, and would in turn, revive the town and put it back on the map.
For the main piece of my exhibition I created a gallery catalog that is also a menu for food and drink provided in the saloon. To start, I created these illustrations to go along with my old town feel. Each image, done with Procreate on the iPad Pro, is used as a separator page for each section including the cover, food, drink and artwork.
Another piece of collateral that I created is an invitation to the opening night of the exhibition. When mocked up (as seen in the photo collage at the bottom), it looks like a belt buckle, of course to fit the old west theme.
The next piece of collateral I created is the bar signage for the saloon. I created the actual sign in Adobe Illustrator, then mocked up what it would look like in an old western style bar setting in Adobe Photoshop.
The final piece that I created is a ticket that would get the participant into the exhibition and saloon style restaurant. This was created using Adobe Illustrator and the illustration was done in Procreate on the iPad Pro.
