"The Power of Friendship"
I forgot to add this piece with the book pages, but this piece pays a small homage to the film "Waiting to Exhale", a story about sisterhood and friendship through life's ups and downs. The girls shown in this photo (starting from the far right) are: Orchid, Athena, Araya, Philicia, and Particia. They are gathered together on the floor, eating fishcakes and tamarind balls and drinking coconut water (Araya and Particia) and guava and carrot juice (Athena and Philicia).
