This book cover design was a ton of fun to work on! The collaborative effort produced fantastic results! When Josh Loomis contacted me on referral, from photographer, J.R. Blackwell, to design his novella cover, I couldn’t wait to get started. Below, is the final composition (see further below for the original photo).

Below, is J.R. Blackwell's original photo submitted that I worked with. I manipulated the photo in a few different ways to achieve the desired layout. The winged head stone behind the main character had to be eliminated and the horizon line had to come down a bit.
