We presented the project of a book of images and words on a beautiful spring afternoon, of air and sun. In the library of the Giudecca Women’s Prison in Venice, many women have arrived, attentive and motivated. After a week, and after having prepared the scene with so many collaborations, we spent two days of participation. A beautician laboratory,
of make-up, a style “laboratory” to dress all the models, shooting and photographs on the scene. Outside the walls of the “feminine” it was mainly raining. Inside the large room,
a good time generated sympathetic and creative atmospheres. We collected them in this way, trying to return them, in some voices and writings.

The “voices of the night” sometimes start in the light of
day, with the headlights on a scene, with strong sensations. Whispered dreams looking for breadth and depth. Women tell, confess experiences and significant changes. They meditate on the steps learned and to be learned. Some believe it is important to know how to be patient, to let go without letting go, to still love independence and restlessness without always being right, to profess to be responsible, to be able to remedy without blaming others. They are sometimes ready to listen, to sense and to unite the threads like fairy tales, parables, beautiful hopes, planned ways and all to be certified. Are they ready, mutually, to listen with confidence as they follow and try to recover?
