Artist Inspired Project - Spring 2018

I chose to imitate the work of Lorna Simpson for my artist inspired project. The series which I chose to mimic is one in which Simpson photographs women, cuts out the head, and paints in hair using water color. Because water color is such an unreliable medium, I found this project difficult initially. However, after much trial and error, I found a way to work with the water color and create a trio of images.
