This mobile interface design is one of the most important pieces in the DeafAid collection. This design directly combines the concept explored across my works and my disciplines. Through an interaction design I have explored a communication problem for deaf mobile users. As English and other languages is a deaf person's second language, I have created a sign keyboard that allows for a much easier means of communication.
I hope to have evoked a feeling of empathy by this time as this is the last piece in my portfolio. The intent is to place viewers in the shoes of the deaf for the duration of the portfolio, I have aimed to raise awareness of designing for people with disadvantages.
