CADAVRE EXQUIS
This project is inspired by the game "Exquisite corpse" or "exquisite cadaver" play by surrealists in art and literature, a mix and match game with funny combinations.
CADAVRE EXQUIS ONE - This art book took me three months, I started designing the book binding, the cover and preparing the backgrounds of the sheets to then continue with the heads, torsos, hips and feet, All the pieces are original and I do not have any template (I must specify as they have asked me), then I wrote some texts and finish by laminating with tape each one of the pages to protect them.
1- Process of gluing the pieces in the book / 2- Many pieces for feet / calves / 3- Many pieces for torso / chest / 4- Many little heads / 5- my happy mess.
FOLK BLENDER
I made this Zine version (easier to distribute and self published as suggested by the concept of these little books) of the previous project.
1- Zine finished and laminated / 2- Zine inside / 3- Appearance of color photocopies / 4- Finished sheets ready for reproduction (Single-sided view) / 5- Design process.
Initially designed in full sheets (As they are easier to photocopy) then colored with markers, finally I reproduced a few copies and made a simple binding separating the parts.
