We were assigned into groups of 7 and given a week and a half to create a prototype hovercraft that would compete against 3 other groups doing the same thing. We were assigned this in the beginning of the model shop class and instructed to not use any tools other than paper, foam, tape, hot glue gun, an x-acto knife, and a Dremel. In the competition we received second place and over 70 votes with constructive criticism and appraisal of our design.
