First Aid Only ReDesign & Expand

It had been just over six months since Acme United Corp had purchased First Aid Only to strengthen their own First Aid division. The effort to unify the brands was hitting a lot of bumps. Add to this a major safety standard ANSI 2015 was soon to take affect and would affect all future products.

I was hired to sort out the visual clutter and create a new identity that paid homage to the brands, while also taking it securely into the future. As their main business revolved around industrial and commercial customers who cared about maintaining compliance, the design would need to be simple and communicative with a sense of authority. 

What emerged is an industry leading design that does away with decades of visual bad habits and creates the sense this is "the official" first aid brand from which all others will be judged by.

From the largest First Aid Station to the smallest packet of cream, a simple easy to read (or understand by color) language of first aid took hold. Including the unique ANSI Standards Block.

NOTE This project taken as a whole is more than just a redesign. It includes the creation of about a hundred templates (Labels, Boxes, Silkscreens Etc) and then managing assets to produce over a thousand pieces of artwork. Followed by photography for ever item. A massive undertaking of work, modestly displayed by the small collection below.
