Lusofonia
Emoçoes en Portuguès no Mundo

The aim of this project was to get together poems coming from all the portuguese speaking world (Portugal, Brasil, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Sao Tome and Timor) to convey the language in its various cultural situations which it belongs to. It's a litterary installation and it's modular so that every poem  has its own panel sized 250x120 cm: the layout is always the same to give to every poem the same importance. The panels are completely black to isolate the environment that they create from any external influence and communicate the poem in its pure form. Twenty poems from twenty poets coming from all over the world: the general concept easily went into the geographic thought: the featured graphic element is the spot, whic can give a geographical location in a space, or a path to follow if joined to others. The spot becomes also an highlighting element (just like many little LEDs) the country in every panel.
The project includes also a guide to use inside the installation and a booklet/catalogue to bring home, which give informations about poems and their aouthors' backgrounds. The booklet is designed as a foldout (just like a map) and when it's completely open in its back appears the poster of the exhibition.
