Cocoa + Maize Confection Café is a rebrand of the South Bend Chocolate Company, a business of 11 company-owned stores in Northern Indiana and four franchise locations throughout Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. The company primarily specializes in chocolate and gourmet popcorn products, but also serves other confections and coffee in its café locations. Since its small start in the small Indiana town in 1991, the company has expanded outside of South Bend and into other Midwest areas. This rebrand aims to reach a broader range of customers through its new name and visual identity, while narrowing in on the products it specializes in, focusing on three collections: decadent chocolates, gourmet popcorn, and café-style coffee drinks to harmonize with the unique flavors of the sweet and salty treats.
