This was a personal project born out of a want to show that we are all living on one planet and that all the world's cultures are beautiful together. The center of the mandala represents Africa, the birth place of humanity, then as it radiates outward we follow the approximate journey of humanity across the world into the Middle East, India, Australia, Asia, Europe, North America, South America and the Islands.

To do this, I researched patterns and symbols that would best represent each continent or country. I then illustrated and colored the mandala in Adobe Illustrator and added some finishing touches in Adobe Photoshop.
