Playing in the water, is there anything better as a child?

When you see a giant puddle, you know as well as I, that you need to splash through it.

On a Monday in April, a mother was out with her daughter and came up to the area I was photographing. They came back down the trail as I was finishing up. As I walked away, the mother let her daughter walk through the water on the walk path and have some fun. 

So I turned around and asked if she'd like some pictures of her child playing in the water.

This little girl had so much fun running through the water and making large splashes.

I remember being this free. It was a nice reminder, it's okay to get your shoes wet, and to splash through a giant water puddle - or in this case, water on the walkway.
