I wanted to see how well i could hold myself to a goal. My goal was to create something every day for 24 days. 

As a full-time student with a family this was a daunting goal. I decided to design socks. I collect socks and would easily wear every pair of these. 

I found a template online provided by meetsocks.com and this helped streamline my workflow. I designed each of these socks 100% independently with some pattern inspiration from clothes or socks I have owned.

I learned a lot from this project. I didn't want to take the easy route and make all the socks the same pattern with different colors. So, I made each sock unique. This taught me how hard it is to come up with fresh ideas for something as simple as patterns let alone complex character design or stickers like I intend to do next. 

The ways my workflow were improved is also something I will keep with me through my career. I now have Illustrator set up how I like it and it is really different than I had it before.

Overall, I loved this project so much and I intend to have these socks made at some point in the future.
