The idea of having an art center for the general public has been under consideration sometime the lack of support for the arts from the state. Successive governments have been blind to the importance of intellectual development and creativity in the national development policy. This need became a rallying cry for the Thai Artists’ Network in their campaign for the building a contemporary art center, to be current with international trends and fulfilling the national pride, and to provide a place for art and cultural learning in the context of the advancing material culture.

Nowadays , the budget for BACC have been cut down from the government every year and the number of visitor have been dramatically decreasing and it have a chance to be demolish in the future .Intention is to help promote and gain the attraction from people . moreover the design of facade itself will also perform as art work to convince people to get in the space and appreciate the art work .
After site visiting , notice the completely difference behavior of the visitors / there are very wide range of visitor in BACC - student , tourist , teenager , artist and adult - can be categorized in to 2 group visitor with art skills or non art skills
Mostly people with art skills spend more time looking and appreciate of the details on the artwork and i found that if u were deeply look into each art work or performance in each floor it would give open you to experience to variety of emotions
To encourage BACC - came up with the idea of using Arduino sensor to detect facial expression from the visitor who spend time with the artwork more that 15 seconds - the sensor will detect the movement of eyes , mouth , cheek and forehead then conclude it into a list of emotions and convert the data into the form of color and the intensity level of the emotion which define the dept of the each emotion which will represent on the facade
Facial Expression conveys non-verbal cues, which plays an important roles in
interpersonal relations. The Facial Expression Recognition system is the process of
identifying the emotional state of a person. In this system captured image is compared
with the trained data set available in database and then emotional state of the image will
be display
