The theme of FUSION XIX Dance Competition is 'vaporwave', requiring an event banner that represents the overall vibe.
I drew inspiration from a picture I took, and used it for the background, since it had a decent amount of vaporwave aesthetics in the frame: palm trees, long roads, and nothing too busy.
Layering on the common elements of the vaporwave vibe, I put a grainy filter on the image, overlayed a grid, and tweaked the saturation to get that 90's cyberpunk color palette.
