Artist’s Statement:
Molly Bloom is an important character that is way beyond literary boundaries. The importance of her Monologue at the end
of Ulysses, by James Joyce, is indescribable and still valid today to understanding the human being and the prejudgment that
we make to a person just by appearance, clothing or behaviour. Through a connection between the past and present, the book reveals the importance of Molly Bloom monologue,  demonstrating that the female reality has hardly changed since the publication of that work. Like Molly, women still face prejudice and are constantly judged by their attitudes.

Brief Explanation:
In this project, we read three voices in parallel. The main one is Molly, followed by comments from social networks and passages of articles about women’s rights and feminism’s aspects. The title “Yes I am” suggests that the character embraces her personality and reaffirms its existence.
The tree voices are there to contextualizing the original text and set a modern tone for the book. The intention is that people read and get curious about who is Molly Bloom and why she’s relevant in today’s world.
