Il Carattere della Città
The book extends the research on italian signs began in the 2014 @ISIA Urbino.
Fourth in the series of publications, the book investigates four italian cities:
Fabriano, Rimini, Sassari and Udine.
Conversely to the previos books, signs were photographed considering the context they belong to, clarifying the nature/personality of the city to all the people who never went there and creating a sort of strolling inside the book. Four chapters compose the publication, one for each city.
Each chapter opens with a typographic composition, made of signletters, and an introductory text about the city, followed by a stroll of images and some brief descriptions on signs and the shops they belong to. The typographic cover too was made chosing some sign-letters from these cities.
