The Brief
The objective was to create a set of three cohesive greeting cards for three separate occasions; birthday, holiday season, and housewarming.
My Approach
I decided to take an illustrative approach, having a cartoon animal completing an action that is unique to them in a way that is related to the occasion that the card is for when the card is opened. The writing on the inside of the card has a large general greeting associated with the occasion and a smaller animal based pun underneath. The typography chosen is handwritten, fun, and lighthearted to fit with the feeling of the illustrations.
