The Reason I did the state of Washington's flag is because when I visit Seattle it was and is my favorite city and place to visit while on vacation. Seattle is one of my favorite cities because it rains and is cold compared to Phoenix it seems that the weather is like winter. Another reason why I redesigned the flag of Washington was because there flag is considered a bad flag because it has its seal on the flag. Washington's old flag does not follow the five rules of a flag. Those five rules was to keep it simple, use meaningful symbols, use 2-3 basic colors, no letters or seals on the flag, and be distinctive. The flags colors are green, yellow, and white because of the forests throughout the state. I also had the colors green, yellow ,and white because those are the state colors. Shapes that were used in illustrator to make the flag was three triangles to make the tree in the middle which is and important part of the state with the forests. The  tree in the middle of the flag represents that it is the evergreen state which is a type of tree. The evergreen state is the slogan for the state of Washington.
