About the Project:
This whole project is based on a story which is depicted through illustrations in five frames. Later each of the main frame is interpreted as its Semantic, Syntactic, Pragmatic and Abstract form and illustrated:
Key frame -The actual frame, showing scenes from the story.
Semantic Illustration - Meaning behind the key frame.
Syntactic Illustration - The visual elements from the key frame are turned into different objects on the basis of their forms.
Abstract Illustration - Your own feeling after looking at the illustration. Pragmatic Illustration - The medium of illustrating is changed from the key frames.

Frame 1
Key frame - Shows a traditional Japan inspired house, that is surrounded by Cherry Blossoms.
Semantics - This frame shows the clam and serene you feel in the key frame.
Syntactics - This frame shows the house in a crystal ball surrounded by witch's hands.
Abstraction - The frame gives a very hypnotising and doozy feeling.
Pragmatics- The medium is changed from digital (Adobe Photoshop) to handmade using oil pastels on sand paper.
Frame 2
Key frame - Shows a bunny who is out exploring the world.
Semantics - This frame shows an eye, curious to explore the wonders of the universe.
Syntactics - In this frame the bunny transform into a fish in an ocean.
Abstraction - The frame gives a very curious feeling.
Pragmatics- The medium is changed from digital (Adobe Photoshop) to handmade using Staledtler water colour pencils on tracing paper.
Frame 3
Key frame - Shows a bird flying.
Semantics - This frame shows an illustration of women with finally having freedom of speech.
Syntactics - In this frame the flowers turn into hands holding a lollipop.
Abstraction - The frame gives a very confused feeling.
Pragmatics- The medium is changed from digital (Adobe Photoshop) to handmade using soft pastel on file card.
Frame 4
Key frame - Shows the bunny over the edge of the hill, spotting a familiar home.
Semantics - This frame shows the longing one feels after loosing a loved one.
Syntactics - In this frame the house turns to a man eating noodles.
Abstraction - The frame gives a very sad feeling.
Pragmatics- The medium is changed from digital (Adobe Photoshop) to handmade using neon Gelly Roll pens on black paper.
Frame 5
Key frame - Shows the bunny finally reconnecting with his friend the bear.
Semantics - This frame shows an illustration of a woman cradling her baby.
Syntactics - In this frame the flowers turn into worms and the bunny and bear turn to a new born bird.
Abstraction - In the frame thing that matter come to focus.
Pragmatics- The medium is changed from digital (Adobe Photoshop) to handmade using Tomboy brush pens on a paper with handwritten notes.
