The Kogi society occupy territory near the Caribbean coastline in La Guajira, Colombia. Most Kogi live in isolated villages, living traditionally in mud huts, with thatched roofs. While many Kogi children live in idyllic environments, surrounded by breathtaking nature, some suffer from poverty, malnutrition and health conditions. In 2017, I had the opportunity to visit an isolated Kogi village rarely visited by outsiders.
