A Homage: to the Land
As I’m comfortable with digital media, I started drawing on computer instead of paper. A Homage: to the Land is a series of illustrations that I’ve seen, imagined and heard about my homeland Bangladesh. All the illustrations are made of lines, no fill or color used. The inspiration behind the style came from ancient cave paintings. I am illustrating these outlines for more than two years beside my regular works. The illustrations consist of history of Bangladesh, people, profession, activities, motifs, urban, and rural life.
Acknowledgment
Many of the illustrations are inspired by photography, paintings, drawings found on the internet, some are credited and some not because of the unavailability of creditors.
